They did not want a different crop every Tuesday. They wanted one month with one tone: a trip down route 45, day and night, same clothes, same dirty light.
We shot three days. The phone was not an afterthought: the frame was born vertical. The 24 mm leaves air between bodies and asphalt.
We cut one master and pulled the twelve from there. If a piece could not stand alone, it did not ship.
